clean and easy to find
I stayed at A&o Hotel Arnulfstrasse in may with my cousin who happened to have a job interview in Munich. we wanted a cheap and easily accessible hotel and got it: this hotel is just across the main trainstation! room was average size and very clean (which is very important to me). Our only problem was the nightclub the hotel is running, I couldn't sleep through the music but when we asked for another room the staff was very helpful and put us in a room far from the club where we had a good sleep. |

ideal for October Fest!
I have stayed in the A&o Hotel Arnulfstrasse last year for the october fest. Even though the city was crowded because of the festival in Munich the hotel was quite clean and breakfast was satisfying. The hotel itself is not located in city centre but it’s pretty easy to get to the centre on one of the trams that stop outside the hotel. |

"Cheap and Cheerful"
I was just in Munich for the night; my stay here was more for the bed so I can't speak to the location. However, I found the hostel to be exceedingly bright and cheerful. I stayed in a double with a bathroom, and the room was large, clean and comfortable. There was a door out the back to the balcony (for the entire floor--not private) which was nice for a wee quiet moment. The reception area was also welcoming and fun, with a phone and internet (the latter was only 1.50 Euro for the hour). The breakfast was great: the usual rolls, meats, and cheeses, but also fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, juices, coffee, tea and water. There is a tram just out the front door and it's very cheap. Very comfortable and fun.

"nice hostel"
This was nice and clean for a hostel. The price was right during the world cup crush. The roof bar is fun late at night. breakfast is typical but quite good and fresh. I would stay again and my wife liked it well enough. The tram just out the front door will get you anywhere quickly. There is a fantastic beer garden just down the street.
