"A good hotel" Breakfast is good. Hotel location is pretty near central train station. I will choose this hotel,next time I visit Munich.

"Quality Hotel in Munich" Enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Atrium Hotel for the Oktoberfest. Excellent location, only a couple of blocks walking to the Theresienswiese. Hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were pleasant. Rooms on the ground floor behind the bar were of a decent size. Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included and had a much better choice than many I've experienced in Europe (lots of pastries, meats, cheeses, breads, scrambled eggs, Leberkase, yogurts/cereals). It's not the Meridien, but the Atrium provides a convenient location to the Hauptbahnhof, the Wiesn, and is only a short walk to the Marienplatz. For me, the hotel was overprices because of the Oktoberfest, but most hotels in Munich are at this time of year. I would definitely consider it again if the price was right.

"Fantastic breakfast buffet, great location" This was a great hotel within walking distance to the city centre of Munich. Walking distance from the rail station and easy access to all of Munich and surrounding areas (Dachau, Castles, etc.). Fantastic breakfast buffet with more than just bread and cheese - various meats, fruits, cakes, etc. Nice sized rooms though no temperature control on the air conditioning.

"great time" first,the only reason I stay here is because of the proximity to oktoberfest.I have been here several times and each time for the fest.the hotel is nice and typical of what you would expect from a hotel in muenchen.the rooms are somewhat small next to american standards. the service and personell were very good.no room service.breakfast buffet was adequate.but you are going there for oktoberfest and this place is only minutes away.so you get at very nice hotel,great staff and the fest is around the corner.best place to be during oktoberfest.
