"Most satisfying hotel in Munich" Probably the only negative thing about this hotel is the location: This is not exactly the centre of Munich. But then, most of the other chain hotels are even further out, and at least this place sits right next to a large park, and one of the best beer gardens in town. I have stayed in the Park Hilton at least ten times, and never have I been disappointed. The rooms are the right size, very clean, with nice views. Staff is excellent, the atmosphere friendly. Yes, some renovations may become necessary over the next couple of years, room TV and telecoms could use a little upgrading to current standards. But though I try different hotels in Munich at least five or six times a year, I keep drifting back to this one. It simply stays the best hotel in Munich.

"Good Customer Service!" Booked a 5 day stay at this hotel over New Year directly on the Hilton Website and got a pretty good price of just over £50 p/n. The lobby area is impressive and what you would expect for the Hilton but our room was a bit shabby with scratched furniture and damage to the walls (which were surprisingly thin judging by the amount of noise coming through them one evening!!). However, for the nightly rate we paid I wasn't too bothered and the service received at the hotel more than made up for it. We ate a few times at the bar and the food was outstanding and the staff really friendly. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the centre but right on the Englisher Garten so ideal for nice walks and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, taxis always waiting and a tram stop a couple of minutes walk away. Note for drivers: there is plenty of parking spaces around the hotel area to save you parking in the hotel car park.. we parked in the garage for less than 24 hours and it cost around 16 Euros but we moved the car to the street the next day and it was perfectly safe..and cheaper!!

"Very nice" Stayed at this hotel December 4th and 5th. The lobby is huge with nice comfortable chairs grouped around tables and sofas/loveseats around tables. Nice coffee bar area. The bar/lounge good sized. Service was excellent. Thought $12.00 USD very pricy for a scotch and water but didn't stop us. Room was very nice and bathroom large. Asked for smoking room and was put in non smoking room. Asked to be moved and desk clerk said not to worry and sent bellman up to room with an ashtray and matches. Breakfast was nice and park river view from the dining area was great. Although out from Munich center transporation was not a problem and taxis were not overly costly even after putting the Hofbrau Haus to bed one night. We recommend this hotel and would stay there again

"Definitely recommended" I would definitely recommend this hotel. People may say the location is not good but you are away from the noise of the city and the hotel is served by regular buses (every ten minutes or so) to the city centre and U bahn. You can get an all day pass for all modes of transport within Zone 4 for 5 people for 8.50euro. The service is excellent and the standard of the rooms is fantastic. Very friendly staff. I have absolutely no complaint about the hotel whatsoever. I would definitely stay there again.

"Hilton was good value" Our stay September 31-October 1 was very nice. The room was booked by a tour company as part of a river cruise extension. Although the Hilton did not have our reservation the desk clerk did provide a room. The highlights of the hotel stay were the cigar bar, the Tse Yang chinese restaurant, and the English Garden beer garden within a short walk. Taxi ride into town was 10 euros and the ride back was 12 euros. We walked back from town one day a couple of miles, all flat. We ate at the beer garden one day. Families, singles, oompah band, and great food from cafeteria style booths in an open air picnic table arrangement. There is an inside seating restaurant if desired, but folks outside are local and friendly. Definitely quiet, but after being with Oktoberfest crowds was a welcome relief.

An international hotel with a Bavarian twist This hotel meets the usual high standard of a Hilton Hotel. The reception staff and others in the lobby adopt Bavarian dress so despite the international feel you know exactly where you are. I stayed in a club room which was a good size. The comfort of the bed was excellent. Certainly a good, clean business hotel.

excellent service Excellent service - lovely location....it's a standard Hilton ... typically hilton styled..but really excellent service by some brilliant, friendly staff!

helpful staff We stayed at the hotel for four nights during Oktoberfest. Great location, helpful staff. I would certainly stay at this property again.
