"Decent location, Decent Hotel, Decent Price"
Stayed here for a few nights in early January. All in all, not a bad spot to stay. Not a far walk from the Deutschesmuseum and the City Centre, while far away that you get a little more peace and save some money (which can be spent at the Hofbrauhaus if one so chooses).
We were on a business trip, but got about a half day to sight see before meetings. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, breakfast was delicious.
Only downsides were not a whole lot of English TV (normally not a problem, but jet lag hit hard, and CNN at 3AM just wasn't doing it for me ;)), and while this may just be a Europe vs NA thing, no included wi-fi. For a hotel which definitely seemed to have a lot of business travellers, that would have been a nice touch.
All things considered, I'd definitely stay there again.

"Clean and neat; great location."
My wife and I were going to Munich for a few days of vacation and wanted to see some of the museums and local sights while we were there so we looked for a hotel near the center of town which was reasonably priced. We found the Holiday Inn Munich City Center on Travelocity and booked four nights for about $100 a night for the first three nights (Friday-Sunday) and $125 for Monday. This place has a great location for the downtown area. While it's outside the old city walls, it's close enough to walk to many of the things you want to see. The Deutsche Museum is a few hundred yards away, and beyond that are the Hofbrau Haus, the Opera, the Residenz Platz, the English Gardens, the river (with nude sun bathers on the "beach" in the center of town) and more. There are many restaurants in the area, of all kinds. Within a few hundred yards we found Chinese, Indian, Italian, Turkish and, of course, German.
The room was a very clean non-smoking room on a completely non-smoking floor. We appreciated not having a stale cigarette smoke smell in our room. The room had a full sized bathroom, not the small European corner showers you frequently find. There was a TV, telephone and mini-bar and internet access. The maids were efficient and our room was cleaned promptly every day. The hallways and elevators were likewise clean at all times. There was a pool in the hotel which we didn't use during our visit.
Under the hotel is a mall area where you can find food, groceries, laundry, restaurants and ATMs. There is easy access here also to the S-Bahn, with connections to the U-Bahn and buses, which will get you further around town if you don't want to walk or take a taxi. There was also a very inexpensive internet shop there and another one across the street from the hotel.
The location was great and the price was great, but for the price we got the room, and nothing but the room. This is the first time I can think of that breakfast was not included in a German hotel. Breakfast was available, but for an additional 24 Euros per person! We went around the corner to a small restaurant for our breakfast at a much cheaper price. And we paid 16 Euros per day for parking under the hotel, and a two minute phone call from the room cost us four Euros.
In summary, this hotel was clean and neat and conveniently located off the A-8 autobahn, from the south, and was close to many of the things you'd want to see while you are in Munich. When you book, however, check to see if your price includes any breakfast.

"Go again!"
This hotel was excellent and we can thoroughly recommend it. The S-bahn station is under the hotel and it is central for all areas of Munich. It is also easy to get to the hotel from the airport direct to Rosenheimer Platz (the U-ground station). The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff could not do enough for you. The only down was the price of the breakfast, but you can get a lovely breakfast cheaply at the Unique Cafe which is opposite the lift exit for the S-bahn from the hotel. We will certainly use this hotel again and recommend it highly.
