"Classy Hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 days in May 2007. We had an upgraded room that was very large and designated the Laura Ashley room. Nicely updated bathrooms. The hotel was convenient to many tourist attractions.
The restaurant in the cellar was fantastic. We had German sausages and goulash and recommend them both. There were several other restaurants. We also enjoyed Trader Vics, although the food was expensive, and a beautiful bar.
The only complaint is that the hallways smelled a little dank and the temperature at times was too warm.
Wonderful experience. We would stay again.

"Great Location, Excellent Service"
This Hotel is located in the heart of Munich, convenient to everything. We were on a group trip here and took many motor coaches around the city. The rooms were very clean, the bed very comfortable and the service staff was very helpful.

"Loved the Bayerischer Hof"
I and my husband stayed two nights at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich in early June 2007. The hotel is really a lost Bavarian pearl. It is just simple gorgeous, from the outside and the inside.
The room was very comfortable and well decorated, with full friendly service. There is nothing to point out in the room. The hotel staff was very helpful, but you are expected to give tips.
The location is really nice in the old historic center of Munich, with easy access from the subway line.
The buffet breakfast was superb, best breakfast ever. While a wide variety of fruit, yogurt, bread, juices, cooked food, just simply great.
It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
Wireless internet is not free.
I would stay there again anytime, but you pay well for you stay.

"Favorite hotel in Europe"
After 3 stays in as many years, I still consider the Bayerischer Hof in Munich to be my favorite hotel in Europe!
First Class staff make this hotel the only one I will stay in while in Munich .
Also, it has an excellent location in Munich for proximity to shopping, dining and sightseeing.

"Nice hotel in the center of Munich"
This is a lovely old-world hotel in the center of Munich. The location can't be beat and the service is very good. It's a large hotel that feels so because it's always very busy with people coming and going in the lobby, bar and restaurants. The rooms, however, are quiet. The one funny thing about this hotel is that they have four decorating 'motifs' for the rooms and some of them are quite bizarre but all are well-finished. The breakfast buffet is excellent and not to be missed.
