Best value in ten week trip! Clean lovely rooms, great location. Excellent price that included free breakfast and free internet. Walking distance to Marianplatz!

Since I wrote my earlier review (in 2002), the Haberstock has been renovated. It is now quite lovely and a tremendous value in München. Breakfast is awesome in the renovated breakfast room. Rooms are clean, bright, cheerful, and very tastefully furnished. While the renovation lost a little of the character of the hotel, it is now an even better value. Highly, highly recommended. I stay here every time I am in München

We stayed at the Haberstock in November of 2001 after finding it reccomended in a Germany Guide book. We were more than pleased by the clean rooms, hearty breakfast and family atmosphere. It is 1 block from Hauptbahnhof and in walking distance of Karlzplatz (local trains) & Marienplatz the center of town. We are going back in Sept. 2005 for Oktoberfest and cannot wait to see the new renovations and visit again with the lovely staff.
