"Great stay" I loved it here. Right from the start the staff were welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. My room was clean and extremely quiet, as it was located at the back of the hotel. You could hear the odd guest slamming their door but not much more than that. I have been in four star hotels where the walls were so thin you could hear everything next door - nothing like that here. The location is brilliant. It is close to the main railway station but not too close. To get to the hotel turn left out of station entrance, at the first intersection turn right and at the next intersection turn right again. You will find the hotel on your right. For those using a car, there is a car park right next door. I found the buffet breakfast ( included in the price) pretty good and again the staff were genuinely friendly. If you want to avoid the coach trip crowd and eat in relative peace, go down early or late. Here's a tip. I suggest you stack up with cheap provisions for the day from the local supermarkets - ALDI and REWE. Turn left out of the hotel. At the first intersection, turn left and they are on the other side of the road. However, as these places are meant for the locals, don't expect anyone to speak English. I would also recommend the Italian restaurant just over the road. What are the downsides? Well, there is no air conditioning but a sort of purified air ventillation system. This might be a problem in mid summer but I didn't experience it. Also, some may find the beds too hard but, personally, I like it that way

"Ideal location,friendly service" Good hotel, clean and handy for rail way station and various bars the lowenbrau Keller is a 5 minute walk as is the augustiner keller so on a summer night ideal for a trip to a beer garden Breakfast is pricey so would recommend the railway station which sells various hot and cold food at reasonabel prices

"lovely stay" Approximately 3 minutes walk from munich central staion, this hotel was ideal in terms of convenience. Decent sized clean rooms with a four poster bed and enough space to move round made it a very comfortable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and even recommended some lovely places to eat. Service was prompt (Like when I asked for an iron). Would definitely stay here again.
