"A gem of a hotel in the perfect location" This small hotel is situated directly across the road from Munich Haptbahnhof and you could easily miss it to far more expensive hotels in the vicinity. But do so at your peril - a late last minute call in on Jan 21st got me a 55euro single room including breakfast. Although the room is tiny by usual standards, I was amazed at the cleanliness, everything was completely spotless. The TV had plenty of channels, remote control, mini bar, shower (only), but with good quality towels and moisturising soap dispensers, plus there were some magazines about Munich to read too. There was absolutely no noise heard from outside, and with a good quality bed I didn't stir until mr.alarm clock called. Breakfast was Continental, but plentiful and tasty, all watched over by 2 well turned out and polite staff, who kept the tables tidy in between stocking up. Ludwig has gone high on my list of excellent hotels, not for the room size, but for cleanliness and comfort....and it's great value for money.
