"Sheraton Westpark a Pretty Good Choice"
My wife and I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Wespark in September 2006, after a long trip from Portland, Oregon. We found the hotel to be a bit sterile, but clean, quiet, efficient and of good value. The cost seemed reasonable relative to hotels of similar class elsewhere in Europe. The breakfast buffet was excellent, though is not included in the room rate. One of the best things about the hotel is the location. The underground is directly in front of the hotel, with an easy 5 minute ride to the main downtown area.

"Great Hotel, recommended"
I stayed here last year for Oktoberfest and it was great. Only 2 nights, but found the room very clean, modern and comfortable. I am a hotel snob and felt like this place lived up to my standards. Especially for the bargain price I paid for the room. It's a great option if you are going to Oktoberfest as it's only a 10 min walk. Also, very convenient 1 block from train station.
The hotel looks dated from outside, but inside its nice. The lobby and bar area were a bit smoky at times and there was no real business center, but most importantly, the rooms were well above par. Nice, polite, English-speaking staff. I plan on returning.

"Satisfied with our stay"
A colleague and I stayed at the ArabellaSheraton Westpark after flying into Munich overnight from the U.S. Our flights were late morning and by the time we got to the hotel early in the afternoon, we were able to check in and rest a bit. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. It is out of the main tourist area, but we found it convenient to be right above the underground station to get into the city for a look around and for dinner. I also was able to find free street parking within one block, but that may have been blind luck and because it was a Sunday. The room was clean and comfortable and we got a good night's sleep to adjust to Europe time for the drive to Innsbruck the next day. In the morning, we enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet. The only negative I can come up with is that the shower door only covers half of the entrance to the tub and even that half does not seal. So we ended up with a small flood after two showers. Still, I would not hesitate to stay again.

"Good Price & Modern"
The Arabella Sheraton Westpark is in west central Munich adajcent the Heimeranplatz U-bahn station and not far from the Hauptbahnhof and central Munich. The hotel is modern, clean and reasonably convenient. The Staff were friendly and helpful, though there was a bit of a mix-up regarding our no-smoking room request (it worked-out fine in the end). The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The only negative was that one morning there was no hot water when my wife took her shower.
I was impressed a week later when I phoned the hotel looking for a forgotten power converter. They has found the converter, had clearly marked and bagged it and held it for me at the front desk. I would stay in this hotel again.

"Stylish Hotel"
I stayed here to attend a conference in Munich, and couldn't have been happier (for the money, which is reasonable).
I stayed in an executive room, so I can't speak for the other floors, but the rooms were very stylishly appointed in a modern red/black motif, well sized, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was included, and had a good range of basic fare.
True to other peoples comments the location is fantastic - literally right outside the hotel you can catch the subway - it's about a 3 stop change from a more central station, and a few stops away after that (2-5) from anything cool.
Enjoy!

"Nice Business Hotel convenient for the U-Bahn"
This is a business hotel set in a suburb of munich amongst shops, offices and residential flats. It is very convenient for the underground and only 3 stops for Hauptbahnhof - Central Station.
I found the room spacious and comfortable - but there was no high speed internet access. Moving rooms was potentially problematic because the hotel was already over booked and but without any fuss, the hotel staff moved my bags for me to another room the following day while I was at work.
I only ate in the hotel once and I found the room service to be good. The Wellness area is new and modern, the facilities was comprehensive.

"Loved the Sheraton West Park Arabella Hotel"
Stayed there for 12 nights, just got back. Most convenient subway, in front of hotel. Staff is wonderful, especially reception. All speak English, are friendly, and do what you need. We upgraded to an executive; for the extra money, it is worth it-sweet sleeper beds are unbelieveable. The restaurant, although not a big menu is excellent; for a treat, try the Chateaubriand for two, fantastic. Two minor warnings-do not use the hotel phone in the room-extremely expensive; there is a phone store one block down accross the street; there is no store for stuff, but there is a drug store and a food market around the corner from the phone store. Otherwise, a most enjoyable experience; made a stay in Munich, which was wonderful, even more wonderful. If I go back, I wouldn"t think twice about staying there.

"Great Hotel and location"
Great hotel - comfortable rooms, great food, faciliities and staff. Subway stop right out front - with 5-10 minutes of travel time connections to old town and Karlsplatz - or then anywhere else in the city you want to go. Why put up with a lesser hotel downtown when this hotel is the same price - for so much more. We spent 5 nights in Munich - one in a miserable hotel in old town (Advokate) and then moved to this hotel for the remaining 4 nights. For the same price....NO COMPARISON. Next time we go to Munich - this is the hotel we will select unless we want to splurge on the 5 star hotels down town.

"Excellent Hotel"
Just got back from Europe. Got a chance to stay at this Sheraton hotel in Munich and just found it to be teriffic. The outside looks old and 70's but the inside is definitely newly renovated. This was one of the few hotels I stayed at in Europe that had a full size elevator (the kind we're used to here in the US). Our room was great. Clean, clean, clean. Our stay included a breakfast buffet. What a spread. Lots of food and great atmosphere. They even have fruits at the front desk for their guests.
